Spring Flowering Bulbs

This section opens for orders in July 2021. We will be updating the range of bulbs over the next few months, so if you don't see all you want, you may find it appearing later, or you can contact us either by email or telephone to enquire.

Please note we supply full cultural notes with all purchases, and these are based on our own experiences of growing these bulbs on our nursery, where most of the images are taken. Many websites offer planting guides but these are often misleading or incorrect. We are also at the end of the telephone to help with either making your selection, or how best to create a great display, so if you have any doubts, call the experts!

We commence delivery of autumn flowering bulbs from August, and spring flowering bulbs from September. Once you have received an order acknowledgement, your bulbs are reserved for you. We usually delay despatching orders for tulips until the correct planting time (November onwards), unless the order also includes bulbs which should be planted earlier. All orders are hand-picked (no 'pre-packs') by a small team of experienced growers, so are all checked and will be in good condition, but this does take time, so please be patient, and don't expect your order to be despatched the same day or sooner.

Allium Ambassador

A stunning Dutch hybrid with 8" diameter, dark purple flower heads. We first encountered this tulip in the north of Holland some years ago, when it was quite new, and were intrigued by the unusual colour.
