Distinctive and unique in its appearance, the unequal length of the flower stalks of this variety give the impression of an exploding firework. The open structure of the flowers mean that they persist well in the border long after the colour has faded. Eventually, they can be harvested as dried flowers (some gardeners spray them silver or gold and use them as Christmas decorations). Only top-sized bulbs (which ours are) produce the largest, most impressive flowers.Ht. 18" (45cm).
