Erythronium
Delightful woodland bulbs, suited to growing in dappled shade, with humus-rich soil which is moist during the growing season but dries out somewhat in summer when the bulbs are dormant. Very hardy and will increase slowly by self-seeding when happy. The varieties offered here are easy to grow.
Erythronium ‘Pagoda’ AGM
Strap-like leaves of bright green with some darker mottling. The flowers are pendant with reflexed petals and of a glowing, light yellow, which shows up well in the semi-shaded situation that the plant prefers.
