Ipheion
Charming, hardy little bulbs for front of border, rock garden or containers. They quickly build into pleasing clumps, flowering sporadically from autumn, right through the winter if it is mild, and more vigorously in early spring. In summer they become completely dormant. The starry flowers are held nicely above the strappy, grass-like foliage. Plant them in well drained soil in sun or dappled shade.
