Vastly improved colour from the species (which is a rather washed out pink) - this introduction sports large, spherical flowers of a good reddish-pink. Short growing, it is ideal for the front of a border or for containers, where it will also display the attribute of retaining its handsome, broad, ribbed foliage throughout flowering time. Ht. to 10" (25cm), flowerhead to 5" (12cm). Flowering early June.
