Following in the footsteps of the popular established varieties 'Picture' & 'White Liberstar', is this rich red version of the crown tulip. The unique shape of this form of tulip results in flowers with extra thick petals, which are both robust and long-lasting. We first encountered this tulip in the north of Holland some years ago, when it was quite new, and were intrigued by the unusual colour. At the time is was known as 'Quest' and the grower cut some flowers for us to bring home with us.
