Plum-purple petals with a yellow and white blotch, less leafy at flowering time, gloriously scented. Similar to Iris reticulata George but with a small flower head. Neat and immaculate Flowering early February / March. Ht 15cm.

This cross between i. histrioides and the yellow flowered i. winogradowii is particularly noted for its beautifully distinct blue veining.

Another amazing introduction from Alan McMurtrie - the first yellow reticulata iris. The flowers are a lovely, clear mid-yellow, marked slightly darker on the falls. Really stands out in the garden.

Iris reticulata 'White Caucasus'
Gorgeous white reticulata, with yellow on the falls. Selected form of wild iris reticulata from the Caucasus mountains, selected by iris breeder, Alan McMurtrie, who describes it as 'a good doer'. This form easily outshines earlier white reticulatas, which lacked the presence of 'White Caucasus'. Returning to our range after being unavailable for a couple of years.Flowering in late winter at 6" (15cm).

This is a historical Juno hybrid, dating back to the early 20th Century and it is a very lovely combination of white, violet and yellow with a hint of golden brown at the tips of the falls. Flowering in May/June at around 20" (50cm).Bulb size I
