We have loved and grown this variety ourselves for a number of years, so were delighted when we sourced stock for last year's catalogue. Many-petalled flowers which change colour between vivid orange and gold, with both colours bringing a sumptuous richness to pots and borders. One of the newer, so-called  'Coronet'  or 'Crown' tulips. We have to confess to not liking all the introductions which have been made in this group - the shape can be untidy in some manifestations.
