We fell in love with this tulip at Keukenhof this Spring. Seeing the flowers, of a most delicate lavender, massed under cherry trees, was a 'stop in your tracks' moment. We trialled this on the farm a few years ago and found it to be a delightful new tulip - great for both containers and for the front of a border. The flowers are bright pink, with darker flaming, and have the rare attribute of a silver edge to the leaves. Large, impressive flowers of lavender-mauve with waved and crested petals. Strikingly ornamental in borders. Becoming quite hard to source. The variety is a sport of 'Bleu Aimable' which is still, arguably, the bluest tulip  available. This classically shaped tulip is a wonderful rich bronze - an exciting colour for garden tulips. It can be used to bring depth to orange schemes or drama to reds or purples. We first encountered this tulip in the north of Holland some years ago, when it was quite new, and were intrigued by the unusual colour. At the time is was known as 'Quest' and the grower cut some flowers for us to bring home with us. We love it for its wonderful, tapered flowers, in a most unusual blend of copper-orange, flushed rose-mauve on the outside of the petals. The bonus of scent too! Flowering...

Lovely, elegant tulip, with flowers in a delicious blend of pale apricot and pink. Height is statuesque and it looks wonderful if you have large containers to fill. One of the 'French' tulips, bred for the cut flower market in that country. This fairly new tulip bears much broader and stronger green flaming than the popular 'Spring Green', together with a very appealing lily flowered form.  It makes a lovely cool mediator between brighter colours. Glowing red flowers with slate green shading on the outers.
