When Verwer dahlias (breeders of many of the best known modern dahlias) decided to raise a ball series, it was a dead cert that something good would come out of it. This was the variety we chose to launch with and it didn't disappoint. Fast forward a few years and we have several other 'Fox' varieties available. This lovely recent introduction follows a trend of breeders raising dahlias with flowers which have complementary colours on the top and underside of the petals. In this case, the petals sport pink-lilac & burgundy-purple hues and the plants themselves are petite enough to grow at the front of a border or in containers. Added bonus is dusky foliage.
