Nerine

Showy natives of South Africa of which one species, N.bowdenii, is reliably hardy in the UK. The bulbs revel in sun and demand good drainage, enjoying having their roots in a sandy or gravelly soil. They are valued for their late flowering, providing a burst of colour in late summer and autumn. They are also excellent for pot cultivation. We stock a range of these popular bulbs, to include new varieties which are still hard to source but which increase the colour range available. All are forms of n. bowdenii and therefore hardy.
