Gorgeously rich recent introduction, with two-tone, red-purple flowers set off by sultry dark foliage. The surface of the petals is light red-purple, with a darker tone of aubergine on the underside and at the heart of the flowers. Modest height but very showy. Last year, it was one of the stand-out varieties on the nursery, as well as in our border and trough plantings. It has also been winning many plaudits on the RHS Wisley Dahlia Trials during the past two years, showing great consistency of flowering over a long season.
