Crocosmia
Indispensable for the summer/autumn border with their sword-like foliage and spikes of vibrantly warm-coloured flowers, these clump-forming plants come in a range which offers varying heights to suit front or back of border and flowering times from mid-summer into autumn. They are easy going plants, enjoying sun and moist but well-drained soil.Heights given are for plants grown in ideal conditions, where soil retains some moisture throughout the growing period. In drier soils, height will be less.
