Perennials

Perennials

NEW FROM 2020 .......AND CONTINUING IN 2021 (MAY - JULY ONLY)

The cancellation of most of last year's flower shows, due to coronovirus,  was a source of huge disappointment to gardeners and growers alike. Fortunately, as seasoned mail order suppliers for bulbs, we were able to expand our offerings to include a range of our hardy perennials by mail order for the first time (previously only available through shows and direct from the nursery).

This year, due to popular demand (and with more show cancellations in the early part of the year), we are continuing to offer this service.   From the safety of your own home, you can now access a choice selection of desirable plants, all grown on our farm nursery, for delivery right to your door.

Propagation is on-going at the nursery, so that new stock and new varieties will be added as they become available. Items shown as 'sold out' may also become available again later in the season. Many other varieties are stocked in small quantities at the nursery, which can be safely visited by appointment (1 set of visitors at a time only), wihen lockdown is not in effect. We anticipate that this will be able to be relaxed later in the year and have already scheduled in our Dahllia Open Weekend for its usual August Bank Holiday dates.

PLEASE NOTE P&P: We have to charge P&P at £10.50 instead of £4.95 for perennials in pots, as there is a lot more involved in ensuring your plants arrive in good condition. However, 'bare root' perennials (when available) will continue to be charged at our standard £4.95 for mainland UK.  Other P&P exceptions are as per our other product ranges. This will cover all Mainland UK, but not Scottish Highlands & Islands and other Islands around the UK.  If you order Summer bulbs (including Dahlias) at the same time, two P&P's will be added, but if we are able to ship them together, we will only charge the higher rate of £8.50.

If you're unsure, please use the 'Pay by Phone' option at checkout and call us for clarification.

We have received many emails from customers saying how pleased they have been in the condition of the plants they have received, and we hope you'll also agree.

Note also that HP denotes Hardy Perennial and AGM the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP PERENNIALS BETWEEN AUGUST - APRIL, WHICH IS OUR BUSIEST TIME OF YEAR FOR SHIPPING 'DRY STOCK' (BULBS &TUBERS). A GOOD RANGE WILL BE AVAILABLE AGAIN FROM MAY-JULY 2022.
