Description

Tall, clump-forming perennial, bearing large spikes of 2-lipped, brick-red flowers in late summer. The downy green foliage is similar to that of tobacco. Unusual and exotic in appearance, it is hardy in a sheltered situation in sun and with moisture-retentive soil. Ht 5-6’ (1.5-2m) Spread 3’ (1m).
