Since dropping 'Worton Blue Streak' from our range some years ago (on account of that variety's disappointing foliage - the flowers were beautiful), we have looked for a dahlia of similar colour and height. When we first saw 'Bluetiful', we new instantly that we had found our heart's desire. The flowers are as 'blue' as dahlias come - which is lilac-blue - and of a lovely, slightly informal shape, which we find truly romantic. Very floriferous - the Dutch grower's vast stock bed of this new variety last year was a mesmerising sea of beautiful blooms.
