An attractive addition to the mid-summer garden, this bulbous plant, commonly known as the summer hyacinth, is actually more like a giant snowdrop in appearance, with strap-like leaves and pendent white flowers. Needs a sheltered, sunny site in well-drained soil which remains fairly moist in summer. Hardy. Ht. 3-4’ (1-1.2m).
