Dahlias
Waterlily type, with shapely blooms of deep rose. Excellent for cutting - it is grown by the million in Holland for this purpose - but also a fine garden plant. Its qualities have been really evident over the last couple of years, as it has been performing its socks off on the RHS Wisley Dahlia Trials. Submitted in error (it is too 'old' to meet the parameters of the trial), it has been showing some of the newcomers how a really good dahlia stands the test of time.
